Common download questions.
Which version should I download?
Download whichever you have in your hand. Your iPhone-using parent gets the iOS app. Your Android-using sibling gets the Google Play version. The Mac at the kitchen table runs the web app. Same login works across all three. The senior parent and the adult child do not have to use the same device.
Can I use Hammock365 on multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on iPhone, Android, and the web. Everything stays in sync: check-ins, messages, document vault, medications. Common pattern is the senior on iPhone, the primary caregiver on iPhone or Android, and the adult child reviewing on a laptop browser.
Can I switch from iPhone to Android later (or the other way)?
Yes. Your account is tied to your email or Apple ID, not the device. Sign in on the new device and your family group, documents, medications, and check-in history come with you. No data export needed.
Does the senior parent have to download anything?
Only if they want to. Many families set up the senior on the web app at app.hammock365.com so they can use a tablet or laptop, while the adult children use the iPhone or Android apps. The daily check-in works the same way in all three.
What if my family is on a mix of iPhone and Android?
That is the most common setup. Hammock365 works the same on both. Family messaging, the daily check-in, the medication log, the document vault: everything syncs across iOS, Android, and the web in real time.
Free forever. One paid plan.
The daily check-in and the missed check-in text cost nothing, ever. The paid plan is $14.99 a month, or $140 a year, for the whole family: texts to everyone, unlimited family members, missed-dose alerts, the document vault, family messages, appointments, and Maggie every day.
