How can siblings share keeping an eye on Mom?

How to get everyone on

- 2Text a sibling an invite, or share the family code. They enter it when they sign up.
- 3Before it shares an invite, the app asks if the person is 13 or older.

It does not matter who has which phone. A mix of iPhone and Android is the most common setup, and the web works too.

A way to split the load
- One sibling owns the check-in time and gets the text. On the free plan, that is whoever set up the account.
- On the paid plan, use appointment notes for the practical stuff: who is driving, what to bring.
- On the paid plan, put the POA, insurance cards and advance directive in the vault, so whoever ends up at the ER has them on their phone.
- Decide ahead of time who goes when the text comes. The app tells you. It does not pick.
When one sibling does everything
If a brother or sister is not helping with your elderly parent, the board at least shows everyone the same check-in, every day. An app shows who checks. It won't settle a family fight. A direct talk about specific jobs and dates does more than hints.
The honest limit
On the free plan, siblings see the board, but only one person gets the texts: whoever set up the account. There is no setting to pick someone else, so let the person who should get the text do the setup. If your parent set up her own account, the text goes to the first person who joined with the family code.
That person does not have to be family. For a parent who lives alone with little or no family nearby, a friend or a neighbor can set it up, or join with the code, and be the one who gets the text.
